This CLE is designed to equip federal and state public defenders, CJA panel members, and other criminal defense attorneys with foundational immigration law knowledge and practical tools to better serve noncitizen clients. Led by a cross-disciplinary team of immigration and defense attorneys, this training will cover key immigration consequences of criminal convictions, intake and referral strategies, and how evolving federal enforcement affects defense practice.
