VAAP believes that Vermont immigrants and their allies would achieve stronger impacts and outcomes if we were to formally organize into a cross-region, cross-sector, cross-discipline, and cross-population coalition as many of our neighboring states have done. With adequate resourcing, VAAP would be very interested in helping to drive organization of such a body, ideally with leadership from the proposed Vermont Office of New Americans equivalent.
