“On May 13, 2025, Common Good Vermont, in partnership with other hub organizations including Vermont Asylum Assistance Project (VAAP) representing a variety of nonprofit sectors, has launched a new Federal Impact Report Form for Vermont nonprofits and community-serving entities.
“We want to know: how are federal actions impacting your organization?
Do you receive federal funding? Please report current funding sources, paused funds, and cuts.
Have executive orders impacted your organization’s mission or the communities you serve?
What challenges or impacts are you navigating? Layoffs? Planning obstacles? Legal compliance?
What are the secondary impacts to community members or other organizations?
What responses or strategies are you exploring? What support needs do you have?

“About the Survey: There are four sections to this survey – many questions are optional but please provide as much information as you are able to. The more information you can share, the more helpful it can be in helping us understand the scope of the ongoing impacts. You can preview the survey questions here. We realize that this is an evolving situation, so we encourage organizations to fill out the survey again if their circumstances change. Survey partners are collaborating to maximize impact and avoid duplication of effort. Survey data will be held by Common Good Vermont and partners and only used as permission is given. Thank you for supporting this vital, collaborative data collection effort!
“About our Partners: Our growing list of partners includes Vermont Arts Council, Vermont Arts & Culture Disaster & Resilience Network, Vermont Libraries Association, Vermont Humanities Council, Hunger Free Vermont, Vermont Afterschool, Vermont’s Free & Referral Clinics, MENTOR Vermont, Vermont Biodiversity Alliance, and Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility.
