VAAP normally handles immigration legal intake for ourselves and for AALV, the Center for Justice Reform Clinic, Vermont Afghan Alliance, and Vermont Legal Aid.
However, VAAP is pausing intake for August 2026.
This temporary pause will allow our team to take a short break, catch up on pending requests, and represent existing clients at a volume of asylum interviews.
VAAP will reopen intake on September 1, 2026.
That is when we will republish our intake form to resume accepting submissions. Meanwhile, you can:
