Every two weeks, VAAP staff and volunteers travel to the Northwest State Correctional Facility (NWSCF) to meet with individuals in ICE custody. These visits are a cornerstone of our detention defense work—providing crucial legal information, screenings, and support to people navigating immigration detention.
