Here are some notable accomplishments/investments the State has made in the last few years with respect to immigration and education access:

• S.191 created increased access to education funding via VSAC for immigrants and new vermonters

• The Working Communities Challenge in Vermont featured 2 teams focused on immigrant inclusion (Winooski and So.VT)

• Representatives from OPR have recently joined a "Professional Licensing Bodies for Immigrant Inclusion" Working Group hosted by World Education Services

• CCV just created an office of multilingual learning. Truthfully it's decades late, but they'll be at the ONA table so giving them some kudos might help
